The singer will tour with Wonder across Europe this summer, including a performance at London's Hard Rock Calling.
"I have met him a few times and he is so funny and humble," she told the Daily Star.
"He's had a big influence on me. Just getting to see him play again is going to be great, but the fact that I have got there by playing my music and he asked me is incredible."
Bailey Rae revealed that she still gets nervous when she meets the Motown star.
The 31-year-old added: "The great thing about meeting Stevie is that when you're loitering nervously near and about to be introduced to him, you are seeing him but he isn't seeing you.
"Being blind must have helped him to ignore the fuss and trappings of fame. So much of fame is about being stared at and conscious that other people are conscious of you. He has been protected from that and it shows."
The pair will perform at London's Hard Rock Calling in Hyde Park on June 26.
