MGMT announce details of UK, Ireland tour

MGMT have confirmed details of a UK and Ireland tour for later this year.

The Brooklyn duo - who release new album Congratulations on April 12 - will play seven dates, kicking off in Dublin on September 16.

Tickets go on sale April 9 at 9am.

MGMT made their live comeback at London's Heaven venue last month.

MGMT will play the following dates:

• O2 Academy Birmingham (23)


• O2 Academy Bournemouth (24)


• Manchester Apollo (26)


• London O2 Academy Brixton (29, 30)
