Earlier this week, the band announced that they are reuniting to play this year's Reading and Leeds Festivals. Frontman Barat has now claimed that if the event goes well then more songs could be on the horizon, NME reports.
"Well, we're going to write," he said when asked about further Libertines releases.
Guitarist Pete Doherty continued: "We haven't got plans to do [play new material at the festivals], no. It's going to be hard enough to work out some of the riffs from the old days, to be honest!"
Barat added: "We might do man, we'll see what crops up." Doherty then said: "Yeah, who knows really? Isn't that what people want?"
