The 25-year-old created the clip in honour of his late friend and musician Spencer Bell, a victim of adrenal cancer, reports MTV.
"My friend Spencer was an incredible musician and artist and he had so many songs that never would see the light of day," Rathbone said.
The video features a song by Bell, and was also produced to promote the Spencer Bell Legacy Project and raise money for adrenal cancer programmes.
Jackson's band 100 Monkeys will perform at a concert on April 24 in Dallas, TX to benefit cancer research and awareness.
Rathbone is currently shooting horror movie Dread and will next be seen in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.
