The duo collaborated on two songs for Beck's upcoming album Emotion And Commotion and The Mirror reports that he was impressed with Stone's energy.
"Electric, she was," he said. "She's full on, Joss. She's a wild thing."
Beck added that he particularly enjoyed working with Stone on a cover of Screamin' Jay Hawkins's song 'I Put A Spell On You'.
"She just nailed it in a spectacular way," he said. "We wanted a track that suited her, rather than she choose something she would be too powerful in. I thought, who screams in the rock era other than Little Richard? And I had the amazing idea of a Screamin' Jay Hawkins song.
"I remember hearing it at school and being literally scared. It's lunatic - it's operatic in one verse and then screams like a murderer in another - and I thought, 'That's the song for Joss'."
Emotion And Commotion is scheduled for release on April 12.
