Earlier this week, reports revealed that GaGa will be asked to submit a track for the movie because bosses believe she is the "perfect choice".
John, who performed with GaGa at the Grammys, has now hinted that he would like to work on the song with her.
According to The People, he said: "I'm really pleased that Lady GaGa is up for the theme tune."
He added: "She's fantastic and it would be amazing to do a duet."
