Lisa Scott-Lee, Sonique and the Cheeky Girls are among the acts featured on a charity single for Cancer Research.

Over 20 female celebrities have re-recorded Cyndi Lauper's 1983 hit 'Girls Just Wanna Have Fun' to launch the charity's Race for Life event.

The song also features 2009 X Factor contestant Lucie Jones, ex-Atomic Kitten member Liz McClarnon and former Mis-Teeq singer Su-Elise Nash.

The track is led by Sonique, who is currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer.

Coronation Street's Kym Marsh, actress Caroline Quentin and Big Brother star Nicola T also provide vocals on the track.

'Girls Just Wanna Have Fun 2010' is released digitally on April 26.
