On the Friday, the bill will be topped by Mos Def with a full live band. The following day sees a performance by George Clinton with Parliament/Funkadelic and the stage will be closed on the final day by Rodrigo y Gabriela.
Festival founder Michael Eavis said of the name change from JazzWorld: "We're going back to the real roots of Worthy Farm and its history with the name change for the stage.
"West Holts was a 'halt' originally; one of the two places where we had to open the level crossing gates across the old railway line to get the cattle through for milking. It was a fair walk up to the farm, just as it is now, and those cows took some driving!"
A spokesperson told The Guardian of the name change: "It never was a Jazz plus World, let alone a World of Jazz stage."
Other acts confirmed for West Holts over the weekend include Femi Kuti, Jerry Dammers Spacial AKA Orchestra, Devendra Banhart, Toots & the Maytals and Tunng.
Glastonbury Festival takes place at Worthy Farm, Pilton on June 25 to 27, 2010.
