Night Work, the group's follow-up to 2006's Ta Dah, will be released on Polydor Records on June 28.
It will be preceded by the single 'Fire With Fire' on June 20.
The album - whose cover art appears to the right - has been co-produced by Stuart Price, who has previously worked with Madonna, Keane and Seal.
"Night Work is really us boiled down to who we are. It feels quintessentially us," frontman Jake Shears said in a press release.
The album's closing track, 'Invisible Light', is currently streaming in full on the group's official website.
Both of the group's previous albums, 2004's Scissor Sisters and 2006's Ta Dah, reached No.1 on the UK albums chart, spawning seven top 20 singles including 'I Don't Feel Like Dancin', 'Take Your Mama' and 'Filthy/Gorgeous'.
