Reports of a split started after rumours that the band had been dropped from their US label Roc Nation.
However, a recent message posted on the group's official website stated: "We have never been 'signed' to Roc Nation for a scheduled album release in America."
Range, who is currently promoting a new fitness class with Virgin Active, has now confirmed that the band are recording new material and are not splitting up.
She said: "That rumour has been flying around for the past nine years!
"If we were going to split up I'd just come out and say it but we're actually having a great time. We're off to India next week and then we're back in the studio to record some new tracks."
