Clash members to reunite at Coachella

Mick Jones and Paul Simonon, guitarist and bassist for The Clash, will take the stage with Gorillaz at this year's Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.

According to Daily Swarm, the show will mark first time the pair have performed together on stage since 1983, when Jones left the legendary punk rock band.

Both musicians contributed to Gorillaz' latest LP Plastic Beach.

The 11th annual event in Indio, CA, takes place between April 16 and April 18.

Other artists scheduled to perform include LCD Soundsystem, Faith No More, Thom Yorke, Pavement, Muse and Jay-Z.
