The boyband, who revealed that they heard about the 'Telephone' singer's lavish budget for her 'Monster Ball' tour, warned the 24-year-old to be more cautious with her spending so that she avoids the financial pitfalls that they faced.
"Our production manager was talking to her production manager and we found out that she had, like, three 747s flying around with her," singer Brian Littrell told WENN.
"I just wanted to tell her that she needs to make, like, a dime or maybe 20 cents after the tour is over with - because when you over-budget yourself, you get home and you're like, 'Yeah, the tour was great, but I'm broke!'"
Bandmate Nick Carter added: "We had to learn ourselves, the hard way... The only people we could trust was ourselves.
"We're actually really involved in our business... I look over all the bills that are coming in before we go on tour... We all talk about it ahead of time and we make sure we put our budget together."
