The band will perform at the Showbox at the Market in their home of Seattle, WA.
Soundgarden are also confirmed to appear at this year's Lollapalooza concert in August.
Singer Chris Cornell, guitarist Kim Thayil, bassist Ben Shepherd and drummer Matt Cameron have been rehearsing in Seattle for weeks.
The group disbanded in 1996 after headlining Lollapalooza.
