The American Gangster star recently went behind the camera to film a clip for Spencer's latest single 'Wish I'd Been Here', according to reports.
The track is from the Australian singer's first album in eight years Calling All Magicians, released in February.
The 45-year-old was apparently seen shooting the video in Sydney and sharing intimate moments with his wife on the set.
Crowe's next movie Robin Hood opens May 14 in US cinemas.
