The duo, who were nominated for 'Best Album' with their self-titled LP at this year's Brit Awards, will follow up their electro debut with a guitar-driven concept record.
Singer Elly Jackson told NME: "If I made a record like the last one again I'd be there for the dumping pile.
"We're contemplating a concept album on the subject of monogamy and I've gone back to playing the guitar."
Jackson also admitted that the group had turned down collaborations with Rihanna, Nelly Furtado and N*E*R*D.
She explained: "Do I want to work with Rihanna? Not really. I'm more interested in what the phone call would be."
