At noon today the singer announced the album's title, Aphrodite, and release date, July 5.
She also revealed that Aphrodite will be preceded by the single 'All The Lovers' on June 28.
"The single was one of the last tracks to be written for the album," Minogue has since added in a press release. "As I was recording it I knew that 'All The Lovers' had to be the first single.
"It sums up the euphoria of the album perfectly. It gives me goosebumps, so I'm really excited to hear what everyone thinks of it."
Price, who has previously worked with Madonna, Keane and Seal, added: "'All The Lovers' is a magical song and sums up everything that the album is: Kylie doing pop dance music at her best. When you look in your mind's eye at everything Kylie is, it's on this record".
As well as revealing Price's executive producer role, the press release also confirmed that songwriters who have contributed to Aphrodiate include Minogue, Price, Calvin Harris, Scissor Sisters frontman Jake Shears, Keane's Tim Rice-Oxley and Nerina Pallot.
