Killers, Keane members team up for album

Members of The Killers and Keane have teamed to release a collaborative album under the name Mt Desolation, reports NME.

Musicians from the bands Mumford & Sons and Noah and the Whale are also involved in the project.

The group features The Killers' drummer Ronnie Vannucci, Keane's keyboard player/songwriter Tim Rice-Oxley, Noah and the Whale star Tom Hobden and Winston Marshall from Mumford & Sons.

Emery Dobyns produced the record of alternative country songs in London.

Mt Desolation will perform live in London at the Luminaire on June 4.
