The former Adam And The Ants singer told The Quietus that the forthcoming album is called Adam Ant Is The Blueblack Hussar In Marrying The Gunner's Daughter.
Ant went on to say that he has been working with former 3 Colours Red guitarist Chris McCormack and long-time songwriting partner Marco Pirroni on the LP, before speaking about new track Who's A Goofy Bunny Then?' - a tribute to his late ex-manager Malcolm McLaren.
Talking about his relationship with McLaren, Ant said: "I was lucky to know Malcolm. He was like my dad. I've never, ever said anything bad about Malcolm. I've only said the truth about him and he's only said the truth about me."
He also told NME that the mooted release is a "live record that lends itself to performance" and will boast a "kind of concept. It's a very old-fashioned, old-school, step-by-step album".
