The 'Whataya Want From Me' star recently announced the first few dates on his 'Glam Nation Tour', which kicks off in the US later this year.
When asked by E! Online's Marc Malkin if he plans to re-enact his AMA performance on stage, he replied: "That is not the plan. I don't want that to become some sort of schtick.
"If I keep doing it, everyone is going to expect it all the time. I don't work like that. I like the element of surprise."
He added: "It's going to be really theatrical and sparkly. You'll have to come. Maybe I'll make out with a snake."
Lambert will reportedly be supported by Orianthi and Allison Iraheta.
