The news and current affairs show is leading a search for three 'anthems' for the main political parties ahead of next month's general election.
Hadouken!'s track 'Things Would Only Get Worse' was written following consultation with Culture Secretary Ben Bradshaw, reports Gigwise.
Frontman James Smith explained that the song is meant as "a subversion" of Labour's infamous 1997 election anthem and "a dig at the seemingly impending Tory administration".
He added: "People are wrong to assume that young people are apathetic when it comes to politics - we have the same concerns as everyone else."
A snippet of the song was due to be broadcast during Newsnight last night, along with an interview with the band.
On April 28, Hadouken's effort will join a track written for the Conservatives as well as Right Said Fred's composition for the Liberal Democrats. Each will be broadcast to voters to see if they can sway the public mood.
