Frontman Axl Rose is the sole original member still performing with the US rockers, after the majority of the group quit in 1994 following mounting tensions with the volatile singer.
Following almost ten years of uneasy silence, the band returned in 2008 with comeback LP Chinese Democracy.
However, in an interview with Examiner, B-Real admitted that he is a Guns N' Roses "purist", and said that the rockers' legacy has been tainted by Rose's decision to continue the group.
"I liked Guns N' Roses in the old form. Right now they're just Guns. Or actually they're just Roses, no Guns," he affirmed.
"'Till (Axl Rose) puts the rest of the guys back there, that s**t is not Guns N' Roses. Just 'cause he owns the name means nothing."
