The singer, real name Vincent Turner, has teamed up with DJ and producer Eli Smith on the label, which he announced via his Twitter page.
He wrote: "A new chapter of my life has BEGUN." He then posted a link to his new label's Myspace page, on which it describes its goal as: "To find, build up and expose undeniably good, exciting talent to the world."
The post continues: "KILLPOP aims to change the landscape of what popular music is today. The name KILLPOP does not come from the idea that pop music is inherently bad but rather that it just ends up being bad far too often."
Frankmusik reassured fans that he is still releasing music on his current label Island, writing: "Still doing Island records full steam. But KILLPOP is my baby."
