Metallica Australian tour dates announced

The heavy metal Los Angeles-based band, which consists of Lars Ulrich, James Hetfield, Kirk Hammett and Robert Trujillo, are scheduled to kick off the leg of their 'World Magnetic' tour in Brisbane on October 18.
The Daily Telegraph reports that the group will then play in Perth, Sydney, Adelaide and Melbourne.
This will be the first time that Metallica have been to Australia since their appearance at the Big Day Out music festival in 2004.
