The Pallot-penned song features on Vickers's upcoming debut album Songs From The Tainted Cherry Tree.
Introducing Vickers from behind her piano, Pallot said: "About a year ago I was asked if I would like to write some songs from someone and I don't normally do that. I hoard them jealously for myself!
"But I had a lot of songs and there was one in particular that I knew was really dear and special, but for some reason I never made a very good version of it. Then I had this young lady singing..."
She added: "She's really wonderful and really special and so talented and just a natural. She's also number one this week and her name is Diana Vickers."
