The 'Walking On A Dream' singer, who is joined in the group by Nick Littlemore, also claims that he has become "too famous".
He told NME: "It's funny, but since the first day I've performed I've never really realised the crowd. I'm so insular from the moment I hit the stage but it's pretty much the whole thing of giving it my all.
"I always used to like to go in the crowd at festivals but now it's a bit of a problem. I've become too famous! It's weird.
"Well, in Australia anyway, I go into the crowd and before you know it there are girls pulling their tops down going, 'Sign this one! And the second one!' And it's like, 'What am I supposed to do here?'"
