The rock legends insist that their flamboyant style, which includes platform shoes and face paint, have inspired the 'Telephone' singer's look.
"She's not Lady GaGa, she's really Lady Kiss," Gene Simmons told the Daily Star.
"I love the vibe, the big mouth and the big visuals. She's the most exciting thing to happen since us. She's a female version of us."
Simmons also believes the key to GaGa's success is her personal connection to her fans.
He explained: "One of the first things we learned was to treat the audience as the guv’nor. When they buy a ticket they become your boss. We just work here. She realises that her fans deserve the best you got because they pay your wages."
Kiss are currently touring the UK until May 13.
