Kylie calls new album "emotional pop"

The Australian singer recently confirmed that her upcoming eleventh studio set, Aphrodite, will feature collaborations with songwriters and producers including Scissor Sisters, Calvin Harris and Stuart Price.
When asked by Elle to describe the album, Minogue said: "I'd say 'emotional pop'. It makes me think about girls getting ready to go out, putting their make-up on. About driving. About sunshine.
"It has some ravey elements. I visualise a festival, a concert - that great rush of everyone being together."
Minogue, 41, also revealed that she feels she has "hit my stride, finally" after 20 years of touring.
"Some things have just clicked. It's ridiculous that it's taken that long. Maybe it's to do with being on tour when I felt ill, but I didn't know I was ill," she said.
"The last tour in North America was purely for my fans. I felt like I had nothing to lose, so this immense freedom came with that."
Kylie Minogue releases new album Aphrodite on July 5, preceded by the single 'All The Lovers' on July 28.
