The all-female five-piece, who formed in Los Angeles in 1978, are to play 14 dates across the US in July.
'Happily Ever After – The Farewell Tour' will include a televised gig for Good Morning America on July 16.
The Go-Go's 1981 debut Beauty And The Beat became the first record by an all-girl band who wrote and perform their own songs to top the US albums chart. The group went on to release three further studio albums, the most recent of which came in 2001.
After the band first disbanded in 1985, frontwoman Belinda Carlisle launched a successful solo career, scoring a transatlantic No.1 hit in 1987 with 'Heaven Is A Place On Earth'. Guitarist Jane Wiedlin enjoyed a UK top 15 single with 'Rush Hour' the following year and later played Joan of Arc in Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure.
