The White Stripes frontman is known for his signature voice and blues guitar riffs. Bandmate Meg White plays the drum kit for the duo.
However, White is now drumming for his side-project The Dead Weather.
"When I was a kid, all I wanted to be was a drummer and be a drummer for the rest of my life," he told The Sun.
The Dead Weather's second album Sea Of Cowards is scheduled for release on May 10.
