The singer, who joined the group last autumn following the departure of Keisha Buchanan, said that the experience confirmed her as a true believer in the supernatural.
She told The Sun: "I had a tea-leaf reading. She told me a woman whose name began with S would come to me with a life-changing offer, I'd meet two girls and my life would be completely different in ten months.
"She was right. Sarah's the Sugababes manager and everything changed in the time she said it would."
The 21-year-old earlier credited the move with saving her career in the music industry.
