The star, who led the way in the midweeks with the only new entry in the top ten, is tasting chart success for the second time following her hit single 'Once'.
Plan B's The Defamation Of Strickland Banks only dropped one place from its number one slot last week, while AC/DC kept hold of number three with their Iron Man 2 soundtrack, and Usher's Raymond V. Raymond took fourth spot.
Elsewhere, Lady GaGa, Justin Bieber, Florence and the Machine and the Black Eyed Peas all re-entered the top ten, with Bieber's My Worlds climbing seven places. Meanwhile, Paolo Nutini's Sunny Side Up climbed one place to number nine, with the album having now been in the top ten for 49 weeks.
Everybody Wants To Be On TV by Scouting For Girls and Glee's Power of Madonna slipped to 14 and 12 respectively.
