Interpol bassist leaves band

According to NME, Dengler departed the New York group after completing work on their upcoming fourth album.
"After the completion of the album, Carlos informed the rest of us that he would be leaving the band. He has decided to follow another path, and to pursue new goals," read a statement from the band.
"This separation is amicable, and we wholeheartedly wish him great happiness and success."
Interpol plan to tour with replacement bass players.
