The Mirror reports that the Sound of Music star's return was labelled a "rip-off" amid claims that backing singers performed instead of the 74-year-old at The O2 arena.
One fan said: "I feel totally robbed and I would like the ticket price back. I saw at least 2,000 people walking out. It became like a second-rate pantomime."
Another revealed: "We felt duped, it was a showcase for the book. We saw Connie Fisher in the audience and wished it had been an evening with her instead."
However, organisers AEG said in a statement: "The show started and finished with a standing ovation. That speaks for itself."
