The group, whose debut LP Myths Of The Near Future won the coveted Mercury Music Prize, also admitted that their producer has given them the confidence to be a "full-force, unstoppable band".
The band's frontman Jamie Reynolds told the Daily Star: "Our producer Ross Robinson made us into a band. He’s given us total confidence as musicians, both collectively and as individuals.
"Before we were four people who had great ideas knocking about but who didn’t always know how to achieve them. Ross has taught us how to do that, while turning us into a hard-playing band."
Speaking about the new LP, Reynolds explained: "It’s much more of a live record than Myths Of The Near Future. We haven’t massively ventured off, it’s kind of the same thing but times itself - bigger, fuller."
The Klaxons' as-yet-untitled album is due for release later this year.
