Burke, Cruz to play Midlands festival

Alexandra Burke and Taio Cruz are among this year's lineup for the Midlands Music Festival.

The festival, now in its second year, runs for two days from July 17 to July 18 at Tamworth Castle Grounds.

Further acts confirmed include Westlife, The Saturdays, Chipmunk and Scouting For Girls.

Peter Andre and X Factor contestant Olly Murs will also play at the event.

One of the days will be dedicated to the '80s, and include performances from Billy Ocean, Hot Chocolate and Sister Sledge.
