Rachel Stevens has revealed that she is planning her music comeback.

The former S Club 7 star said that she has made plans to go back into the studio and record a new album, almost five years after her last solo LP Come And Get It.

In an interview with New, she said: "There are plans for an album but it's in the early stages. It's a new challenge and it's exciting.

"There are so many great artists and most of them are women, but that's good - the more the merrier!"

When asked if she had kept in touch with her old bandmates, she admitted: "Not really. But there are no hard feelings."

Stevens, 32, launched a solo career after S Club 7 disbanded in 2003. She managed five top ten hits including 'Sweet Dreams My La Ex' and Sport Relief single 'Some Girls', both of which peaked at number two.
