Ryan Adams releases sci-fi metal album

The LP, titled Orion, is Adams's first record since splitting with his band The Cardinals.
He released the album, which was recorded in 2006, on his own record label PAX AM, reports NME.
Orion's cover features artwork by Michel Langevin from the Canadian metal band Voivod.
