Kylie Minogue has revealed that she would love to perform at a UK music festival.

The singer, who was forced to pull out of her Glastonbury slot in 2005 are being diagnosed with breast cancer, was recently ruled out of ever headlining the event by organiser Michael Eavis.

She told Metro: "I really want to do a festival. Anyway, I am hoping to do a tour next year. I would love to take it to South America, Brazil.

"I was sprung into action after touring America last year. The fans were amazing and it was the first time they saw me but it was like preaching to the converted."

Minogue's new LP Aphrodite is produced by Stuart Price, who previously worked on Madonna's Confessions On A Dancefloor. Discussing the record, she revealed: "There's loads of really great songs that didn't make the album.

"For me the mist exciting part of this all is still performing and the energy from that."

Minogue's new single 'All The Lovers' is available to download from June 13.
