The band have made a radio edit of 'Scribble' available as a free download from their official UnderworldLive website. A full-length version of the track is available through the site's online shop.
A statement read: "Described as a gene-splice between Yellow Magic Orchestra and Grooverider blasting out over the dancefloor at Fabric on a Friday night, 'Scribble' is a writing and production collaboration with Hospital recording artist High Contrast.
"Scribble is the first track taken from Underworld's forthcoming sixth studio album which is due at the end of the summer. Hope you like it."
Underworld's last studio album was 2007's Oblivion With Bells. The band currently consists of founding duo Karl Hyde and Rick Smith.
The band had previously suggested that they may avoid the "restrictive" album format with future releases.
