M.I.A. publishes writer's phone number

M.I.A. has published the private telephone number of The New York Times journalist Lynn Hirschberg via her Twitter page.

The star, who was offended by an article that Hirschberg published about her last weekend, implied on the site that the phone number belongs to the writer.

"CALL ME IF YOU WANNA TALK TO ME ABOUT THE N Y T TRUTH ISSUE, ill b taking calls all day bitches (sic)," the singer wrote, followed by the number, which leads directly to Hirschberg's office.

M.I.A. also said that she plans to set the record straight and correct inaccuracies in the piece.

"NEWS IS AN OPINION! UNEDITED VERSION OF THE INTERVIEW WILL BE ON neetrecordings THIS MEMORIAL WEEKEND!!!"
