The former Auteurs frontman's first book covered the years from 1992 to 1997 and was released in 2009.
A post on his website revealed that a second volume would be released next year. The statement read: "Luke Haines will be appearing at Port Elliot Festival, Cornwall 23rd to 25th July.
"He will be reading from and talking about Bad Vibes as well as giving a sneak preview of the follow-up book to be published in 2011.
"He will also be playing songs. What he will not be doing is sleeping in a f**king tent. Luke Haines does not 'do' tents."
