Adele: 'Country music is the best'

In an interview with Spin, the singer said that she is happy to be recording her next record in America, where the genre started.
"I think they're the best songs written, just the emotion and the lyrics, and the way that they sing them," she said.
The 22-year-old also admitted that her love of artists such as Alison Krauss and T-Bone Burnett have gone on to affect the tracks she is currently writing.
"[Producer Paul Epworth and I] came out with this bluesy, gospel sound which was, without me realising, exactly the route I wanted to go down," she added.
"I want people to get me, and I don't think that they'll be able to if I didn't try to progress a little bit. I just wanted to make good songs, and I think I've done that."
