Frontman Billy Corgan and his newly-formed version of the Pumpkins will play a mix of new and old material on the road, including songs from their 44-track online album Teargarden By Kaleidyscope.
The 14-date tour is to begin on July 6 at Cleveland, Ohio's House of Blues.
The jaunt will also feature special performances for select fans.
"We are going to do something unique, which is play an invite-only set during soundcheck of almost all new, unreleased songs," Corgan said.
He added: "We're still figuring out a way to make it possible for some of the fans who'll be in the line outside waiting to get in for that."
