The singer, who recently revealed that she had done a "huge amount of writing" for the record, will play several small venues across Scotland, with admission on a first come, first served basis.
Discussing the new LP, which was recorded in Berlin, she told the Daily Record: "I had an amazing three weeks there and am finishing it all off in London.
"It was only after I decided on it I discovered it was the Chinese Year of the Tiger."
Tiger Suit was produced by Jim Abbiss, known for his work with the Arctic Monkeys on their Mercury Prize-winning debut What ever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not.
Tunstall's last LP, 2007's Drastic Fantastic, reached number three on the UK album chart.
Tiger Suit is released in September.
