1980s rock bands Foreigner and Europe have been added to the bill of this year's iTunes festival.

Foreigner, known for hits such as 'I Want To Know What Love Is' and 'Cold As Ice', will be supported by 'The Final Countdown' Swedish rockers Europe at London's Roundhouse on July 25.

Their performances, along with other recently confirmed acts including Diana Vickers, Goldfrapp, Faithless and the Scissor Sisters, will be recorded live and available to buy on iTunes.

Europe singer Joey Tempest told Metro: "We'll be well up for playing at the famous Roundhouse in Camden. Recording the event live makes it even more exciting."

Foreigner guitarist Mick Jones added: "We're really buzzed about our upcoming show at the Roundhouse. The heat is on for us to give a killer performance and play the best we can for the live recording on iTunes - and we're ready to rock and roll!"

More than 60 acts will perform at the featival, which runs for 31 nights throughout July.
