The 'If I Had You' star embarked on his 'Glam Nation Tour' earlier this month, which features support from Allison Iraheta and Orianthi.
Speaking to ET Online, he said: "When I was putting together this show there was a little bit of pressure and I was a little nervous about it and didn't know what to think.
"We're ten shows in... and the nerves are all gone. Now it's more excitement and I can't wait to show this to everybody and share this with my fans. Obviously the music comes first and I wanted to feature the music on this album in a new light."
He continued to say that he thinks his production - which is inspired by turn of the century New Orleans - contains "a really great balance of things that have their edginess and sexiness" but are done in a way that won't alienate the audience.
Lambert added that he is now looking forward to touring the rest of the country and that it is "exciting to see the diversity of the crowd" at each venue.
