Tennant urged Scissor Sisters Price collab

Price co-produced the band's latest album Night Work with the group and singer Jake Shears told Metro that the idea for the partnership came from Pet Shop Boy Tennant.
Shears said of Price: "He's a love and a true genius. Neil Tennant urged me to call him. It seemed too obvious, then we realised it made perfect sense.
"One of the first things he said was, 'This is gonna be the best album you've ever made'. That enthusiasm and confidence is the most important thing he brought to the table."
Shears's bandmate Ana Matronic added: "Stuart is a secret Scissor."
Scissor Sisters' first live tour was in support of Price's Zoot Woman project.
