The electro-house producer, best known for his UK number two hit 'Satisfaction', has also paired up with Black Eyed Peas singer apl.de.ap on the track, due for release later this summer.
'Spaceship' will precede Benassi's new album, the follow-up to 2008's Rock 'n' Rave.
The track also marks Kelis's second dance collaboration, following her 2003 duet with Richard X 'Finest Dreams'.
