Tong, who recently opened his own club night Wonderland in Ibiza, admitted that the 'Dirtee Disco' singer may not know much about the genre but is keen to embrace it.
"Dizzee wanted someone to hang out with at a dance festival we were both at recently so I took him round the event," the Radio 1 presenter told Daily Star.
"He was quite naive to it all. I don’t think he could handle the techno. But I took him to see LCD Soundsystem and he loved it. He’s a very formidable man and really embraced it."
Rascal recently dismissed claims that he has become a "sell-out".
