The White Stripes singer confirmed to BBC Newsbeat that he would release the track on 7" vinyl through his Third Man Records 'Blue Series' project.
White said: "It was perfect - one take. She's gorgeous. Gorgeous voice and an incredible person. A wonderful girl. Somebody turned me on to her a few months back.
"If people are coming through town I try to catch up with them and ask them if they want to come by before their show and record something. It's really beautiful what she recorded."
The title and release date of the song are yet to be confirmed.
Marling recently released her second album I Speak Because I Can. White is currently touring with The Dead Weather and confirmed that he has "nothing planned with The Raconteurs or The White Stripes" for the immediate future.
